Ms.Donette Bob- Food Inspector,from the GA-FDD visited Moruca Region # 1,with Minister within the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs, Ms. Valerie Garrido- Lowe along with her team on 7th July,2019.
The aim of the visit was to look at the Physical Infrastructure of the Cassava Flour Processing Plant located in Kwebana Village in Region One (1).
The objective for the construction of this facility is to ensure that, the designed follow a straight line approached throughout the manufacturing process. This will allow for safety and high quality standard of a value added product, from raw materials to distribution and for sale to the local and international markets.
Verbal advice was given to make an application, to the Food and Drug Department for the facility as soon as all infrastructural works are completed.
